Rules

Format rules that get views

The four checks Sand Media uses before a clip counts — native text, listicle hook, face in frame, readable in one second.

Why format beats volume

On this operation's own data, a small set of on-format posts produced far more views than a large pile of off-format ones. The four checks are the whole standard — keep them on screen while you cut.

The four checks

  • Native text overlay — not a Canva caption card.
  • Listicle hook — numbered or enumerated.
  • Real person in frame in the first second.
  • Full hook readable within one second.

Rejection means teach

When a manager fails a clip, they write why. That feedback loop is how new clippers get good fast. Do not skip it.
